Intermittent Traffic Stoppages to Occur on I-84 in Middlebury on Friday, March 26, 2021
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that intermittent traffic stoppages will occur on I-84 in Middlebury on Friday, March 26, 2021, between the hours of 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM. Traffic may be stopped for up to 20 minutes at a time in either direction during these intermittent stoppages.
The intermittent traffic stoppages are necessary to facilitate utility relocation activities associated with the replacement of Bridge 01160 carrying Benson Road over I-84 in Middlebury.
State Police will be used to halt or slow traffic during the closure intervals.
