Extended Scheduled Nightly Closures of Exit 20 on I-84 Westbound to Route 8 Northbound in Waterbury
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing extended scheduled nightly closures of Exit 20 on I-84 westbound to Route 8 northbound in Waterbury through the month of August. The closures will occur nightly from 11 PM to 6 AM. The closures are necessary to facilitate construction activities associated with the Route 8/I-84 Interchange (Mixmaster) rehabilitation project in Waterbury.
Motorists should follow the signed detour: I-84 westbound to Exit 18 toward Highland Avenue. Follow to Chase Parkway and then to the I-84 eastbound on-ramp. Take Exit 20 onto Route 8 northbound.
