Bridge Maintenance Activity on Route 15 North in North Haven and Hamden
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance activity will be performed on Route 15 north in North Haven and Hamden.
The work consists of asphaltic plug joint installations on Bridges 00658 over Whitney Avenue, 00784 over Dixwell Avenue, 00785 over Mill River, and 00790 over Toelles Road. Work is scheduled to occur the evening of Monday, October 4, 2021, to the morning of Friday, October 15, 2021.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 north between Exit 60 (Route 10, Hamden) in Hamden and Exit 64 (Wallingford) in North Haven. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday evenings through Friday mornings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity. No work will be performed on the day before or the day after the holiday on October 11, 2021.
