The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing bridge maintenance work will be performed on Bridge 00266 carrying Gallivan Lane and Bridge 00267 carrying Fitch Hill Road over I-395 in Montville. Work is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021, through Friday, July 30th, 2021.
Motorists can expect a various lane closure on I-395 northbound and southbound in Montville:
- Southbound between Exit 11 to the Montville Rest Area
- Northbound between the Montville State Police Barracks on-ramp to Exit 11.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. On Tuesday, June 1, 2021, work will be starting at 8:00 p.m. and no work will be conducted the day before and the day after July 4, 2021, Independence Day.
