The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the one-night scheduled closures of the I-84 westbound Exit 9 on and off-ramps in Newtown on October 30, 2020, between the hours of 8:00 PM until 5:00 AM. The closures are necessary to facilitate construction/safety improvement activities. All work is weather permitting.

Scheduled Nighttime Lane Closures on I-95 in Norwalk
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing scheduled nighttime lanes closures on I-95 in Norwalk occurring Monday, October 26, through Friday, October 30, 2020 (weather permitting). During this period, traffic may also be halted for a maximum of 10 minutes on Route I-95 between 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. These closures are necessary to facilitate structural steel installation activities associated with the ongoing project to rehabilitate Bridge 00061 carrying Strawberry Hill Road over I-95 in Norwalk.

Fuel Storage Tank Upgrade at DOT Facility in Meriden
The Department of Transportation's (Department) Office of Engineering is developing plans for the replacement of the motor fueling facility on the site of the existing Department’s garage at 239 Miller Avenue in Meriden. The purpose of this project is to upgrade the storage tanks to comply with the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s regulations.

REVISED - The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime work will be performed on Route 15 (Wilbur Cross Parkway) in the Heroes Tunnel, with nightly lane closures in each direction beginning on October 28th, 2020. Work hours will be Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Friday from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and Saturday from 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.
