  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the one-night scheduled closures of the I-84 westbound Exit 9 on and off-ramps in Newtown on October 30, 2020, between the hours of 8:00 PM until 5:00 AM. The closures are necessary to facilitate construction/safety improvement activities. All work is weather permitting.

• 10/15/2020 Scheduled Nighttime Lane Closures on I-95 in Norwalk

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing scheduled nighttime lanes closures on I-95 in Norwalk occurring Monday, October 26, through Friday, October 30, 2020 (weather permitting). During this period, traffic may also be halted for a maximum of 10 minutes on Route I-95 between 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. These closures are necessary to facilitate structural steel installation activities associated with the ongoing project to rehabilitate Bridge 00061 carrying Strawberry Hill Road over I-95 in Norwalk.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a thin surface pavement treatment will be performed on Route 43 in Cornwall. The project consists of a thin surface treatment to be placed on Route 43 from Route 4 to Route 63.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing scheduled right lane closures in Middletown on Route 9 northbound between the Exit 12 on-ramp and the Exit 16 off-ramp from 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM, from Monday, October 19, 2020, to Friday, October 23, 2020.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation (Department) will conduct a virtual public information meeting concerning the proposed rehabilitation of Bridge 03225, carrying Route 150 over a brook in Wallingford, on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be live streamed via Microsoft Teams Live Event and YouTube Live. A question and answer session will immediately follow the presentation. The presentation will be recorded.   The Department of Transportation's (Department) Office of Engineering is developing plans for the replacement of the fuel oil underground storage tank with an aboveground storage tank on the site of the Department’s headquarters at 2800 Berlin Turnpike in Newington.

• 10/9/2020 Fuel Storage Tank Upgrade at DOT Facility in Meriden

  The Department of Transportation's (Department) Office of Engineering is developing plans for the replacement of the motor fueling facility on the site of the existing Department’s garage at 239 Miller Avenue in Meriden. The purpose of this project is to upgrade the storage tanks to comply with the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s regulations.

• 10/7/2020 REVISED - Heroes Tunnel Concrete Liner Assessment in Woodbridge, Hamden, and New Haven (Route 15)

  REVISED - The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime work will be performed on Route 15 (Wilbur Cross Parkway) in the Heroes Tunnel, with nightly lane closures in each direction beginning on October 28th, 2020. Work hours will be Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Friday from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and Saturday from 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.
