    The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of construction and intermittent nightly lane closures of I-84 east and westbound travel lanes in West Hartford beginning on March 2, 2020, and extending through the 2020 construction season. The intermittent lane closures are necessary as part of the safety and operational improvements project on I-84 in West Hartford.

This project will take place simultaneously with the Saint John’s Square/Main Street intersection operational improvement project in Middletown. Construction is set to begin on or about February 27, 2020.

    The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the one-day, daytime closure of Route 66 at the Natchaug River in Windham to facilitate construction activities to replace Bridge 00490. The closures will occur on Thursday, February 13, 2020, beginning at 7 AM, and ending at 7 PM the same day.
