  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime pavement-marking project will be performed on various state roadways in Fairfield and New Haven Counties beginning March 29, 2020.

• 3/22/2020 Culvert Replacements on Route 167 in Farmington

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation’s (Department) Office of Engineering is developing plans to address two hydraulically undersized culverts under Route 167 (West Avon Road near the Lions Club) in Farmington.

• 3/22/2020 Weekday and Weekend Lane Closures on I-84 Westbound in Waterbury

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that, in order to facilitate construction work associated with the Route 8/I-84 Interchange (Mixmaster) rehabilitation project in Waterbury, lanes closures will occur on I-84 westbound beginning immediately. Due to recent reductions in traffic volume, closures are being extended to weekdays and weekends.

• 3/19/2020 Arrigoni Bridge in Portland and Middletown to be Reduced to One Lane in Each Direction Beginning on March 30, 2020, for Construction Activity

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that to facilitate construction activities associated with the first stage of rehabilitation of the Arrigoni Bridge, that concrete barrier will be installed to reduce the number of travel lanes from two, to one lane in each direction. This configuration will begin on March 30, 2020.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of construction activities for the rehabilitation of Bridge 06778, which carries Route 127 over Tributary F of the Pequonnock River in Trumbull.

• 3/19/2020 Replacement of Bridge 00688 Carrying Route 14 over Moosup River in Sterling

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a project will begin on April 1, 2020, for the replacement of Bridge 00688, which carries Route 14 over the Moosup River in Sterling.

• 3/17/2020 Bridge Rehabilitation Project on Interstate 395 in Plainfield with Scheduled Closure and Detour of Exit 32 Southbound On-Ramp

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that work will commence on or about April 1, 2020, for the rehabilitation of Bridge 00302 carrying Interstate 395 over Route 14 and the Moosup River in Plainfield. To facilitate construction activities, the Interstate 395 Exit 32 southbound on-ramp will be closed beginning on Friday, April 3, 2020, at 7 AM. The closure will remain in place until approximately November 30, 2020.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime bridge deck repairs will occur on I-84 WB in Newtown, beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

• 3/11/2020 Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 in New London

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 Northbound and Southbound in New London, beginning Monday,
