The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the seawall replacement project on Route 146 (Limewood Avenue) between Sybil Avenue and Crouch Road in Branford, will begin on September 8, 2020.
The project consists of replacement of the existing seawall, roadway reconstruction, drainage improvement and pedestrian safety improvements to the Indian Neck Trail.
DOT Project No. 0014 – 0186 was awarded to C.J. Fucci, Inc., at a cost of $5,824,577.40, and is scheduled to be completed on May 31, 2021.

Route 146- Limewood Avenue:
Motorists can expect alternating one-way traffic through the use of temporary traffic signals to be in place for the duration of the project from on or about September 10, 2020, to May 1, 2021.
Wilford Road at Route 146:
The southern Leg of Wilford Road at Route 146 will be closed and traffic will be detoured during construction.
