The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 173 from Route 71 (New Britain Avenue) to Beechwood Road in West Hartford beginning Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.33 mile segment of Route 173 from Route 71 (New Britain Avenue) to Beechwood Road in West Hartford. This project is scheduled to begin milling on Tuesday, May 26, to Thursday, May 28. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Sunday, May 31, to Wednesday, June 3, 2020.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 173 from Route 71 (New Britain Avenue) to Beechwood Road in West Hartford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday).
