The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on US 44 in Hartford, from Scarborough Street to .02 miles east of the overpass of Central New England Railroad (Bridge 04397), beginning Thursday, May 28, 2020.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.26 mile segment of US 44 from Scarborough Street to .02 miles east of the overpass of Central NE Railroad (Bridge 04397) in Hartford. This project is scheduled to begin milling on Thursday, May 28, to Friday, May 29. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Sunday, May 31, to Tuesday, June 2.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on US 44 from Scarborough Street to .02 miles east of the overpass of Central NE Railroad (Bridge 04397) in Hartford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday).
