The Department of Transportation is announcing a nighttime resurfacing project on Route 25 northbound and southbound in Bridgeport and Trumbull beginning Thursday, May 7, 2020.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing .62 miles of Route 25 Northbound and Southbound in Bridgeport and Trumbull. This project is scheduled to occur Thursday, May 7, 2020 through Monday, June 8, 2020. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Thursday, May 7, 2020 through Friday, May 15, 2020. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Thursday, May 28, 2020 through Friday, June 8, 2020.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 25 from .08 mile south of Northbound underpass Southbound Route 8 to .05 mile north of Northbound overpass Fairchild Mem Park (Bridge #03771 N/B and #03772 S/B, including ramps). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday night through Friday morning).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
