The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 110 in Stratford and Shelton.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing 3.59 miles of Route 110 in Stratford and Shelton. This project is scheduled to occur Tuesday, July 14, 2020, through Tuesday, August 18, 2020. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, through Tuesday, July 28, 2020. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, August 2, 2020, through Tuesday, August 18, 2020.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2020 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 110 from .08 miles north of Freeman Brook to .19 miles north of Constitution Boulevard South. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
