Bridge Maintenance Work on I-395 Northbound and Southbound in Waterford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-395 northbound and southbound in Waterford.The work involves the installation of asphaltic plug joints and will occur on Monday, November 2nd, through Friday November 20th, 2020.
Motorists can expect various lane closures on I-395, northbound from Exit 1 (I-95 S/B off-ramp) to Exit 6 (Rt. 163 on-ramp) and southbound from Exit 5 (Route 32 on- ramp) to Exit 2 (off-ramp to Route 85). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, during the week.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
