The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 south in Guilford.
The project consists of expansion joint repairs. The work is scheduled to occur the evening of Wednesday, November 4, 2020, to the morning of Friday, November 6, 2020, with work occurring from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am.
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 south between Exit 58 (Rt.77 Guilford / N. Guilford) and Exit 57 (Rt.1 N. Branford) in Guilford.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
The work is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2020 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Dynamic Surface Applications.
Motorists are advised to remain alert, drive cautiously, and to maintain a safe speed when driving in and near the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
