Bridge Maintenance on I-95 Northbound and Southbound in Greenwich
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 northbound and southbound in Greenwich. Work is scheduled to occur the nights of Monday, December 7, 2020, to the morning of Friday, December 18, 2020. The work involves milling and paving activities on Bridge 6015 over the Mianus River.
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 northbound and southbound in between Exit 4 Indian Field Rd. Cos Cob and Exit 5 Riverside Rd. Route 1. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00pm to 5:00am (Monday night through Friday morning).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
