  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-91 North and South between North Haven and New Haven, Monday, October 14, through 2019.

• 10/17/2019 Guiderail Upgrade on I-84 in Southington

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that guiderail upgrades will be performed on I-84 eastbound and westbound in Southington, Wednesday, October 23, through Tuesday, October 29, 2019.

• 10/17/2019 Railroad Crossing Repairs in Killingly - Detour Required

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that railroad crossing repairs will be performed on the Route 101 (Hartford Pike) railroad crossing west of Interstate 395 in the Dayville Section of Killingly, Friday, October 18, through Monday, October 21, 2019. The upgrade includes the replacement of the crossing riding surface.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an illumination repair project will be performed on Route 15 in Woodbridge and New Haven on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation’s (Department) Office of Engineering is developing plans to make interchange improvements on Route 15 southbound at Exit 57 in the town of Orange.

• 10/15/2019 Nighttime Milling and Paving on South Main Street (Route 177), Mill Street, School Street and Main Street (Route 4) in Farmington

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing nighttime milling and paving of a section of roadway on South Main Street (Route 177) in the vicinity of and including portions of Mill Street, School Street and Main Street (Route 4) in Farmington. All work is weather permitting and is scheduled to start Thursday night, October 17, 2019.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will continue on a 2.24-mile segment of Route 1 in Milford through Friday, October 18, 2019. Work hours are 8 p.m. to 5 a.m

• 10/9/2019 Nighttime Resurfacing Project on Route 1 in Westport

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will continue on a 1.85-mile section of Route 1 (Post Rd. East) in Westport through Friday, October 11, 2019.

• 10/8/2019 Resurfacing Project along Route 82 - Town Street - in East Haddam and Lyme

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will continue on a 3.82-miles section of Route 82 (Town Street) in East Haddam and Lyme through Thursday, October 17, 2019.

• 10/8/2019 Lake Avenue Bridge over the Merritt Parkway in Greenwich Scheduled to Reopen by November 20, 2019

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the Lake Avenue Bridge over the Merritt Parkway in Greenwich, will continue to be closed to traffic and is now scheduled to reopen by November 20, 2019.

• 10/8/2019 Scheduled Lane Closures on Route 34 (East and West) over the Wepawaug River in Orange

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Route 34 eastbound and westbound in the vicinity of the Wepawaug River in Orange will be reduced to one lane in each direction between the hours of 9 PM, Friday October 11, 2019, and 5 AM, Monday October 14, 2019. An additional identical closure will occur again between the hours of 9 PM, Friday, October 18, 2019, and 5 AM, Monday, October 21, 2019.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the reopening of the HOV lane on I-84 West Exit 54 to the Founders Bridge and the re-opening of the Route 2 West Exit 3 ramp to Darlin Street on October 16, 2019, weather permitting.

• 10/8/2019 Scheduled Temporary Closure of I-95 Southbound Ramps at Exit 74 in East Lyme

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled temporary closure of the I-95 southbound ramps at Exit 74 in East Lyme, beginning October 16, 2019, at 6:30 PM, until October 20, 2019, at 6:00 AM. The closure is necessary to facilitate construction activity associated with the realignment of the ramps. The work is being performed via CTDOT permit by a private developer.
