  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a surveying operation will be performed on I-95 north and southbound in West Haven.

• 12/3/2019 Public Information Meeting Concerning Proposed Replacement of Bridge 01489 Carrying Route 178 (Park Avenue) over Beamans Brook, and Proposed Replacement of Bridge 05576 Carrying Route 185 (Simsbury Road) over Tumbledown Brook Channel, in Bloomfield

  The Department of Transportation (Department) will conduct a public information meeting concerning the proposed replacement of Bridge 01489 carrying Route 178 (Park Avenue) over Beamans Brook and the proposed replacement of Bridge 05576 carrying Route 185 (Simsbury Road) over Tumbledown Brook Channel, on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at the Bloomfield Community Center, 330 Park Avenue, Bloomfield, CT. The formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the meeting will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019, at the same time and place.

• 11/26/2019 Bridge Inspection Requiring Temporary Closure of Route 8 Exit 5 Northbound Off-Ramp to SR722 (Chopsey Hill Road)

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that bridge inspection work will be performed on Route 8 northbound at Exit 5 in Bridgeport. The Route 8 northbound off-ramp to SR722 (Chopsey Hill Road) will be closed to traffic during the inspection process. This project is scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 8, and Sunday, December 15, 2019, weather permitting.

The formal presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the meeting will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019, at the same time and place.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation (Department) will conduct a public information meeting concerning proposed Intersection Improvements on Colt Highway (U.S. Route 6 and S.R. 531) at the I-84 Eastbound Entrance Ramp, on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, in Farmington at the Farmington Police Station (319 New Britain Avenue, Unionville, Connecticut 06085). An open forum for individual discussions with Department officials will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a formal presentation at 7:00 p.m.
