West Rock Tunnel Repairs - Route 15 in New Haven

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed at the West Rock (Heroes) Tunnel northbound and southbound in New haven, Thursday, November 21, through Wednesday November 27, 2019. Work hours will be 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Rt.15 North and South between Exit 59 (Rt.69/63 New Haven/Woodbridge) and Exit 60 (Rt.10 Hamden) in New Haven.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Thursday evening to Wednesday morning).

   

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
