The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a tree removal operation will continue along the Merritt Parkway (Route 15) northbound and southbound in Greenwich and Stamford, through Friday, March 8, 2019. The work area will be between Exit 29 (Old Mill Road) and Exit 33 (Den Road).
Work hours will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the northbound side, and 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the southbound side. Work hours on Saturday, February 16, only, will be 6 a.m. to 1:30 pm.
The project consists of cutting dead trees, high limbing and clearing signs.

Motorists can expect lane closures. A movable sign pattern will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
