Bridge Maintenance on Southbound Q Bridge on I-95 in New Haven

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project
will be performed on the southbound I-95 Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge (Q Bridge) in New Haven on Tuesday, October 22, 2019.
The work is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2019 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with the bridge electronic design consultation being led by AECOM.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 South between Exit 50 (Woodward Ave. / Lighthouse Pt.) and Exit 46 (Sargent Dr. / Long Wharf) in New Haven. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Tuesday morning to Tuesday afternoon).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
