Twin Pipe Culvert Repair under Route 214 in Ledyard

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a twin pipe culvert project will be performed in Ledyard, beginning Monday, April 9, 2018.

The project consists of a twin pipe culvert repair under Route 214 just east of Spicer Hill Road in the town of Ledyard. This project is scheduled to begin on the Monday, April 9, 2018. Rain date will be on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect a detour from Route 117, Route 2A, Route 2, and return to Route 214 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone with an alternating traffic pattern 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and again from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. or as required.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday, April 10, 2018 and Wednesday, April 11, 2018

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone with an    alternating traffic pattern 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The regular work schedule for this project is from

8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
