Tree Removal and Trimming along I-91 in Cromwell and Rocky Hill

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that tree removal and trimming will be performed on I-91 northbound and southbound in Cromwell and Rocky Hill, Monday, December 10, 2018, through Friday, January 11, 2019.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect a closure of the left lane to occur on I-91 Northbound from Exit 21(Route 372)

to Exit 24 (Route 99) and I-91 Southbound from Exit 23 (Rt. 3) to Exit 21 (Rt. 372) in Cromwell and Rocky Hill. Truck mounted attenuators, traffic control personnel, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through this detour. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
