Temporary Closure of the Route 6/44 Off Ramp from I-384 WB in Bolton beginning Saturday April 28, 2018, through Monday April 30, 2018 
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the temporary closure of the I-384 WB off ramp to Route 6/44.  This closure is necessary for the installation of a pedestrian bridge over the Route 6/44 off-ramp in the Bolton.  Detour signs will be posted. Access will be provided for local businesses.
The project is part of the Charter Oak Greenway Shared Use Path in the towns of Bolton and Manchester.
DOT Project No. 0012-0096, was awarded to the Guerrera Construction Company Inc. of Oxford, Connecticut on April 18, 2017, at a cost of $ 9,287,991.35 and is scheduled to be completed in November 2018.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists will not be able to use the Rte. 6/44 Off Ramp to Morancey Road between the hours of 3:00 am Saturday, April 28 through 6:00 am Monday, April 30, 2018.
DETOUR INFORMATION: 
From Coventry heading west on Route 44 and from Bolton/Andover heading west on Route 6, motorists will be directed to follow I-384 WB to Exit 4 in Manchester, turn right onto Highland Street, take a right at the traffic light (intersection of Highland Street and Spring Street), and then take a left onto I-384 EB. Motorists traveling on I-384 EB will be directed to take Exit 5, at the end of the ramp, take a left over the Rte. 85 Bridge (Bolton Center Road), continue onto Bolton Center Road, and then take a right at the intersection of the junction of Rte. 6/44 (Bolton Center Road and Boston Turnpike).  Access to local businesses will be maintained.
