Superelevation Modifications and High Friction Surface Treatment Project on the Merritt Parkway in Greenwich
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of Project 173-484, superelevation modifications and high friction surface treatment on the Merritt Parkway in Greenwich. Lane closures will commence on June 23, 2018.
The purpose of the project is to improve traction and roadway geometry to reduce crashes and roadway departures.
DOT Project No. 0173-0484 was awarded to Waters Construction Co. at a cost of $2,728,316.50 and is scheduled to be completed by 10/24/2018. 
Lane closures will occur on the northbound side between the hours of 8PM and 6AM and southbound side between the hours of 7PM and 6AM in.  Please be prepared to reduce speed when entering the construction zone or seek an alternate route.
