Scheduled Closures of the I-91 South Bound Exit 30 Off-Ramp to I-84 East Bound for Bridge Rehabilitation Construction Activities
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the Thursday night (August 16, 2018) and weekend closure (August 17, 2018, to August 20, 2018,) of the I-91 SB Exit 30 off-ramp to I-84 EB in Hartford, weather permitting.
Ramp Closure and Detour Information:
The I-91 SB Exit 30 off-ramp to I-84 EB will be closed on Thursday night August 16, 2018, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. and all weekend starting Friday, August 17, 2018, at 9:00 p.m., to Monday August 20, 2018, at 5:00 a.m.

Motorists wishing to enter I-84 EB from I-91 SB will be directed to take Exit 27 (AirPort Road), take left on to Airport Road, take right on to Murphy Road and right on to I-91 NB/I-84 then left onto the Charter Oak Bridge and on to I-84 EB.
The project involves the rehabilitation of Bridge 01428D over I-91 NB, US Route 44 EB and the Connecticut River.
