Resurfacing Project on Route 148 in Killingworth

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 148 in Killingworth beginning Friday, August 17, 2018.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.52 mile segment of Route 148 in Killingworth.  The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Friday, August 17, 2018.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, through Friday, August 31, 2018.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 148 from Route 79 to Venwood Drive in Killingworth.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday – Friday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
