Resurfacing Project along Route 110 in Stratford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 110 in Stratford, beginning Monday, October 1, 2018.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing 1.30 miles of Route 110 in Stratford.  This project is scheduled to occur Monday, October 1, 2018 through Tuesday, October 23, 2018.  The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, October 1, 2018 through Thursday, October 4, 2018.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Friday, October 5, 2018 through Tuesday, October 23, 2018.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2018 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 110 between US 1 (SB) (Barnum Ave) to Route 113 (Main Street).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on October 1, 2018 and 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the remainder of the project (Monday through Friday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
