Nighttime Street Sweeping on Route 8 in Waterbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing a nighttime street sweeping project will be performed on Route 8, northbound and southbound including ramps in Waterbury, overnight Thursday, May 24, to Friday, May 25, 2018. 

Work hours will be 8:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect various lane closures between Exit 37 and Exit 29.

Impact Attenuators, signing patterns, and cones will be utilized to guide motorists through the worksite. Traffic will be alternating from left lane to right lane.  The regular work schedule for

this project is 8:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
