Nighttime Snow Removal on I-84 and Route 8

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing a nighttime snow removal project, beginning Friday, January 5, 2018, along I-84 from the New York state line to Waterbury, and on Route 8 from Exit 14 in Derby to Exit 46 in Winchester.

Work hours will be 9:30 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Impact Attenuators, variable message boards and cones will be utilized to guide motorists through the worksite. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
