Nighttime Resurfacing Project along I-95 in Norwalk and Westport

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime resurfacing project will be performed on I-95 in Norwalk and Westport, beginning Monday, September 17, 2018.

The project consists of resurfacing 1.84 miles of I-95 northbound and southbound in Norwalk and Westport.  This project is scheduled to occur from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2018 to the morning of Saturday, September 22, 2018.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 NB & SB from Exit 15 (Route 7) to Exit 18 (SR 476, Sherwood Island Connector). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
