Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing on Route 37 in Danbury and New Fairfield

     

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will continue on Route 37, in Danbury and New Fairfield through Thursday, August 30, 2018.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.49 mile segment of Route 37, in Danbury and

New Fairfield. Work hours are 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2018 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 37 between Barnum Road and Route 39 (Brush Hill Road).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
