Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing on Route 10 in Farmington

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a 4.09-mile segment of Route 10 in Farmington, Sunday, June 3, to Friday, June 29, 2018.

Work hours will be 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

            This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2018 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 10 between SR 522 (Scott Swamp Rd.) and the Avon town line.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a .m. (Sunday through Thursday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
