Nighttime Milling and Resurfacing along Route 5 in North Haven
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 5 in North Haven, beginning Sunday, July 29, 2018.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing 1.31 miles of Route 5 in North Haven. This project is scheduled to occur Sunday, July 29, 2018 through Tuesday, August 14, 2018. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, July 29, 2018 through Friday, August 3, 2018. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, August 6, 2018 through Tuesday, August 14, 2018. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 5 from State Street to Access to Northbound I-91. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday)
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
