Nighttime Milling and Paving on I-95 in Groton from Exit 89 to Exit 90
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime pavement preservation project will be performed on I-95 northbound and southbound in Groton between Exits 89 and 90. The work is expected to start on Sunday July 29, 2018.
The project consists of milling and repaving 1 mile of I-95 northbound in Groton between Exit 89 (Allyn Street) and 90  (Route 27) and 1 mile of I-95 southbound in Groton between Exit 90 (Route 27) and 89 (Allyn Street).
LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 northbound between Exit 89 (Allyn Street) and Exit 90 (Route 27) and I-95 southbound between Exit 90 (Route 27) and Exit 89 (Allyn Street). Traffic impacts may occur between the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday – Thursday) southbound and 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday) northbound. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
