Construction Activities on Route 4 in Farmington Requiring Lane Closures and Traffic Shift
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that lane closures and a traffic shift will occur on Monday, June 4, 2018, through Friday, June 8, 2018, on Route 4 (Farmington Avenue) between the intersection at Garden Street and the intersection at High Street, weather permitting.
The lane closures and traffic shift are necessary to facilitate the installation of decorative crosswalks associated with the reconstruction of Route 4 (Farmington Avenue).
DETOUR / LANE CLOSURE INFO

Various Lane closures will be implemented between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm starting on Monday, June 4, 2018, and ending on Friday, June 8, 2018.
One lane will be maintained in each direction for Route 4 westbound and Route 4 eastbound. Turning lanes will be maintained at the intersection of Route 4 with Garden Street and Route 10 and High Street.
Project No. 0051-0260 was awarded to Tilcon Connecticut, Inc. of New Britain, Connecticut on January 20, 2016 at a cost of $12,224,171.69 and is scheduled to be completed in June 2018.
