Bridge Repairs under I-395 in Plainfield

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that bridge repair will continue on Kate Downing Road under I-395 southbound and northbound in Plainfield through May 18, 2018. Work hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This repair will for concrete deterioration on Bridge #00295 which carries I-395 NB/SB over Kate Downing Road in the town of Plainfield. This project is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, April 25^th, through Friday, May 18^th, 2018.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closure on Kate Downing Road under I-395 southbound and northbound in the towns of Plainfield. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 am to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 25^th, through Friday, May 18^th, 2018.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
