Bridge Maintenance on I-95 Northbound in Bridgeport

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 northbound in Bridgeport, beginning Saturday, November 17, 2018.

The work consists of jersey barrier repairs and will occur from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 Northbound between Exit 26 (Wordin Avenue) and Exit 27A (Junction to Routes 8 & 25). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to        2:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
