Alternating One-Way Traffic Pattern Scheduled to Begin on August 13, 2018, on the Clinton Avenue Bridge over the Merritt Parkway in Westport

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that rehabilitation work on the Clinton Avenue Bridge over the Merritt Parkway in Westport will begin on August 13, 2018. The Clinton Avenue Bridge will have nightly alternating one-way traffic patterns for eight weeks between 6PM and 6AM. Traffic patterns will be restored to the original configuration on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 6AM.  Motorists are advised to anticipate possible delays during the night time hours of 6PM to 6AM during the rehabilitation work. 
The overall project consists of the rehabilitation of 5 miles (each direction) of Route 15, and 11 structures (over and underpasses) in Fairfield and Westport.  Upgrades to pavement, guiderail, drainage and historic concrete are included.
DOT Project No. 0158-0211/207 was awarded to Manafort Brothers, Inc. at a cost of $56,712,000.00 on January 20, 2017 and is scheduled to be completed August 20, 2019.
