Surveying along Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) in New Canaan & Norwalk
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a surveying operation will be performed on the Merritt Parkway (Route 15) Northbound and Southbound in New Canaan and Norwalk Saturday, November 4, and Sunday November 5, 2017.
The project consists of surveying which will be performed on Route 15 Northbound and Southbound in
New Canaan, Norwalk and Westport. This survey work is being completed in advance of
DOT Project Number 102-296, the Bridge and Safety Improvements of Route 15. This project is scheduled to occur from on Saturday, November 4, 2017 and Sunday, November 5, 2017.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 Southbound between Exit 40A (Route 719, Main St.) and Exit 37 (Route 124, South Ave.) in New Canaan, Norwalk and Westport. Motorists can also expect lane closures on Route 15 NB between Exit 37 (Rt. 124, South Ave.) and Exit 40A (Rt. 719, Main Ave.) in New Canaan and Norwalk on Sunday November 5, 2017. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
