Resurfacing Project along Route 126 (Sand Road) in Canaan/North Canaan

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a 3.61-mile segment of Route 126 (Sand Road) in Canaan/North Canaan, Monday, June 12, through Friday, July 21, 2017. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 126 (Sand Rd.) between Route 44 (Salisbury Rd.) and Railroad Street. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
