Nighttime Street Sweeping on I-84 in Western Connecticut

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime street sweeping project will be performed on I-84 beginning Wednesday, April 12, 2017.

The project consists of street sweeping on I-84 starting at Exit 9, from Newtown, Danbury, Bethel and Brookfield to the New York state line.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Impact Attenuators, signing patterns, and cones will be utilized to guide motorists through the worksite.  Traffic will be alternating from left lane to right lane. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
