Nighttime Street Sweeping on I-84 in Waterbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing an overnight street sweeping project on I-84 between Exits 17 and 26, beginning Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 8 p.m. and ending Friday, June 2, at 3 a.m.

Impact attenuators, signing patterns, and cones will be utilized to guide motorists through the worksite. Traffic will be alternating from the left lane to the right lane. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
