Nighttime Resurfacing on Route 10 (Queen St.) in Southington

    

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 10 (Queen Street) in Southington beginning Sunday, August 27, 2017. 

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.25 mile segment of Route 10 (Queen St.) in Southington. The milling portion of this project is scheduled to begin on Sunday, August 27,

to Wednesday, September 6. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin

on Sunday, September 10, and continue through Thursday, September 21.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 10 (Queen St.) in Southington from 316' south of Lazy Lane to the overpass of the Quinnipiac River. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday-Thursday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
