MOTORIST ADVISORY
Double Lane Closures on I-95 Southbound Between Exits 46 and 42 are Scheduled at Night from Monday, August 14, 2017, through Thursday, August 17, 2017, in New Haven and West Haven
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that double lane closures of I-95 southbound between Exits 46 and 42 are scheduled from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. from Monday night, August 14, 2017, through Thursday night, August 17, 2017, in the towns of New Haven and West Haven. In addition, the Route 34 on-ramp to I-95 southbound will be closed from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Monday, August 14, 2017, and Tuesday, August 15, 2017.
The lane closures are necessary to perform roadway survey work across all lanes of I-95 southbound between Exits 44 and 46. The survey work requires that the two I-95 southbound left lanes be closed from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Monday night, August 14, 2017, and Tuesday night, August 15, 2017, and the two I-95 southbound right lanes be closed from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday night, August 16, 2017, and Thursday night, August 17, 2017.
The Route 34 on-ramp to I-95 southbound will be diverted to I-95 northbound to Exit 50 at which point traffic will turn left and enter onto I-95 southbound.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
