Filling of Joint and Cracks on Various Routes in Greater Hartford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a Joint and Crack Seal project will be performed on various roadways in Greater Hartford, beginning Monday, April 24, 2017. Lane closures will be required.

This work will be continue through Friday, June 2, 2017.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. (Monday-Friday), except for the Memorial Day Weekend (May 27-29).

Segments of the following routes are included in this project: US 6 in Bolton and Andover, US 44 in Coventry and Mansfield, Route 5 in East Hartford, Route 30 in South Windsor, Manchester, Tolland, and Ellington, Routes 187, 189 and 218 in Bloomfield, SR 502 in East Hartford and Manchester, Routes 9 and 155 in Middletown, Route 157 in Durham, Route 160 in Rocky Hill and Berlin, Route 372 in Berlin, Route 72 in New Britain and Plainville, and Route 229 in Bristol.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
