Accessible Pedestrian Signal Updates on Various State Routes in Bloomfield, Windsor, Enfield, Vernon, Manchester, and East Hartford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of work for the installation of accessible pedestrian signal upgrades in the towns listed below.
The project consists of upgrading pedestrian control features such as countdown pedestrian indications, accessible pushbuttons, sidewalk ramps, and crosswalks in an effort to improve accessibility and pedestrian safety.
