REVISED DETOUR DATE
Replacement of Bridges 02102 and 04179 Carrying Route 99 over Hog Brook in Rocky Hill
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of work and a detour to commence on August 20, 2016 at midnight on Route 99 at Hog Brook in Rocky Hill. The detour will be be in place for seven consecutive days. The project consists of replacement of Bridges 02102 and 04179 by installing precast concrete, four-sided box culvert sections, footings and wingwalls.  
  
DOT Project No. 0118-0166 was awarded to Shultz Corporation of Terryville, CT at a cost of $1,214,268.96 on March 21, 2016 and is scheduled to be completed on September 11, 2016. 
DETOUR INFO
Detour signs will be in place to close and redirect traffic to access Route 160 west to Route 3 and access Route 411 West to Route 3. The Route 160 detour will direct traffic to 99 South and the Route 411 detour will direct traffic to 99 North.
