The bridge carries Route 816 (Glen Road) over the Housatonic River in the towns of Newtown and Southbury and will be fully closed to vehicular and pedestrians traffic for a period of seven calendar days to perform deck resurfacing operations with Latex Modified Concrete (LMC). The anticipated reopening date is April 25, 2016.
