Nighttime Milling & Paving, SR 800 (Winsted Road) in Torrington

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and paving project will occur on SR 800 SB (Winsted Rd.) will occur in Torrington, beginning Tuesday, October 11, 2016. 

This project is scheduled to occur from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016 to the morning of Saturday, October 15, 2016.

A private contractor for Eversource will be milling and paving

Motorists should expect delays; Traffic Control will consist of signs, cones, and police officers to safely guide vehicles through the work zone. SR 800 (Winsted Road) will be reduced to one lane between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
