Nighttime Emergency Fence Repairs along I-84 Eastbound in Waterbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing a nighttime emergency fence repair project will be performed on I-84 eastbound at Exit 21, overnight Wednesday, November 16, to Thursday, November 17, 2016. The exit ramp will be closed and a detour established.

Work hours will be 9:00 p.m. Wednesday to 1:00 a.m. Thursday.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists will be guided to Exit 22 eastbound onto South Main Street to Grand Street to Bank Street, then on to their destination.  Impact Attenuators, signing patterns, and cones will be utilized to guide motorists through the worksite. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
